12u State AAU Champions Division 1

Chance and Kel competed this weekend in the State AAU Division 1 tournament for 12 year olds and under. They won all games to become the "Champions." They play for the Kentucky Elite team. This team has been hand selected from some of the top players in the area. We have kids from Pike County, Hazard, Clinton County, and others.

Well, my Monday started off with a bang! Well, actually it all started Sunday. Corey told me he had some bumps on his stomach and back. So I looked at them and my thought was that it is chicken pox. It was confirmed today when I took him to the doctor. He has chicken pox! He will not be able to attend school all week and possibly some of next week. Only after the last bump has crusted over can he return to school. :)
Next, Chance called me from his friends house to tell me that he had chipped his tooth AGAIN! This makes the 7th time in all for one of his front teeth to be chipped. So, I took him to the dentist this afternoon. She also cleaned his teeth which was $110. Yippee! Do you hear the sarcasm!
Now, Chance is laid up on the couch complaining with a headache and fever. Who knows what it is now.
Corey is supposed to play ball in Barren Co. this weekend. We will have to see how the spots are for that. And Chance is supposed to play in Lexington.
The next 8 out of 9 weekends have ball tournaments scheduled. Guess what I will be doing?

School=Crazy.......ARC meetings, RTI meetings, Learning labs, Progress notes, Testing crunch!!!!

Kendall, Chance, & Chris have all had the stomach virus. Corey and I have been lucky so far. I hope we stay that way.

Corey played ball in Green Co. this past weekend. They got 2nd. Chance was supposed to go practice with the Kentucky Elite team on Sat. but he was sick. He will practice again this Sat.
Both boys have still been going to the gym and working out with their coach, Greg. Neither one decided to play baseball this year. That is a change from any year in the past. Maybe a little break before the Elite schedule hits full force.

I'm loving the beautiful weather. It seems my days at school have been better with the ability to hang outside recess over their heads. :) The girls at school are starting an afterschool workout group being on Thursday. I am planning on attending to get in shape. :)
Well, I better go...Kendall is wanting milk.
